Day 97 – Sydney storms
The weathered continued to worsen today as storms rolled in. Watching the news throughout the day we could see the studio backdrop of Sydney get darker and more miserable. In Manly we could see and hear the effects as the wind and rain battered against the windows.
I ventured into town in the afternoon sliding my way along the wet pavement tiles in my thongs (flip flops). Reaching the end of the Corso, the main high street, I nearly got blown over by the wind coming on shore.
Apparently all this is going to clear tomorrow and we can expect an increase of temperatures of up to 15 degrees. We’ll see. Either way we’re going to head out somewhere to abate the cabin fever.
