Day 54 – Planning ahead
Not a particualary active day today but still been busy.
In the morning we had our trek briefing and met our guide. All seems pretty straight forward, bar a few early starts and climbing up to 4600m on the second day.
In the afternoon we headed down to the statue of the Inca warrior King Pachacuteq. There we climbed up to the top of the base and enjoyed views of the city.
Returning to the hostel we spent the evening booking cars and hostels for New Zealand. So far we´ve got the South Island sorted, including a bungy in Queenstown, more details to follow!
