  • Boarding

I’d organised a trip to the snow dome at Milton Keynes and last night a group of us from work hit the slopes slope.

Just spent the morning racing single seaters around Silverstone’s Stow circuit. Sandy managed to find a half price late deal and there was no way I was going to miss out on it. Downside of this deal was that we…

  • The dream ends (well at least for this year)

I’ve decided not to do the Nice Iron man. I’ve concluded that two weeks between that and the Etape is not enough. Other factors are rowing, not wanting to sacrifice Etape performance and I’ve not got the time or inclination…

About this blog

Welcome to the personal blog of Robert A J Ford, a professional interaction designer and developer based in the UK.

I started this blog in 2007 to record my cycle training leading up to the Etape. I've never been one for diaries but this format works well with my job and lifestyle so I expanded it to record details of other training and events.

As the blog grew it became a space where friends and family followed my activities. Their feedback has inspired me to keep writing. I hope you find something of interest and please feel free to leave comments.
