Training round up
120 miles this week from two rides.
Its taken longer to recover from the than expected. My ham strings really tightened up and a full week of rowing training didn’t help.
I’ve got the feeling that my ham strings are going to be an issue. To cheer myself up I bought some Specialized Pro Carbon shoes. Not having ridden during the week I opted to cycle to and from rowing as an opportunity to set the shoes up. It took several miles of stopping and adjusting but it was worth it. On the hills I could feel the difference. I also noticed that my leg extension seemed a little short so upped the saddle. This could be the reason my ham strings tightened up on the Cat. I really don’t know enough about setup so plan to do some heavy reading.
